Inside source telling me between Colts and Hawks. Colts made a good offer, after coaching staff didn't like Cook they are now pressing to keep Wilson. Might be official today or in next day or so.

2-Ls is a good guy with a great personality, but he's just a role player. Would be fine with him coming back, but if he goes then it's really not much of a loss.

I thought Vannett was basically drafted to replace Luke Willson. Although TEs have been getting ridiculously overpaid this free agency and Luke Willson I don't think has garnered much interest. This is also a VERY deep class for tight end... I dunno, didn't we already have Jared Cook visit as well? I just think Willson is gone and we go in with Vannett+3rd round TE (in a loaded class, who can hopefully block decently) come 2018.

Luke Willson was raw coming out of college, there is no doubt about that. He was the Second stringer behind McDonald? the TE i was hoping the Hawks would take but was happy with the Faster Willson also. I still believe his best seasons are still in front of him, Glad he is back.

3 million to keep Wiilson is worth it... Veteran who's entering/in his prime for a 1 year deal...

Love the one year part and being a Seahawk vet and knowing the system and his role in the system, should be more useful then some mediocre FA that comes from another team.

i think he would have been better on the colts, a more pass heavy offense that would have given him a lot more opportunities.

Colts seem to use their TEs in their offense a lot more then the Seahawks do, so yes he would of been better on the Colts. That being said, I don't think he's some great talent.
