I saw an article in the paper today about our ADs trying to work out a game. They said there was a possibility that it could happen and it would be at a neutral field. They're talking about it being at Lambeau, Jerry World, or Houston. Now I know LSU if going to push for Houston or Dallas. I wouldn't mind playing in Wisky early in the season tho. Anyone hear anything about this on your side?

To LSU vs Wisky :suds: Hope they make it happen.

Lambeau would be AWESOME. And they'll have more seats by then. No matter where, would love to party with the Bayou Bengals! These are the games we've been practically begging Barry to schedule. Win or lose, let's play those southern boys and have the most epic tailgates this planet has ever seen! I'm fuggin stoked!

Wisky and LSU are at the top of the list of rowdy mofos. Would be a hell of a tailgate indeed.

Hey man, if it's in Lambeau and you get tickets, let me know and I'll make sure you have a good list of places to eat, visit, etc.

FWIW, this game is almost certainly going to happen in Houston for 2014. The official announcement could come as early as next week.

The Wisconsin beat reporter for the Journal-Sentinel (big Milwaukee paper) gave a "it's not official but it's all but official" inference on a message board. He's not a person who implies something if it wasn't almost a done deal. I also know someone in the AD office (not a full time employee, just a student, but still) who tells me Barry is okay with having the game in Houston.

So has anyone heard anything new on this? My understanding was that the Houston game was as good as scheduled. Maybe now that the 2016-17 B1G schedule is out they can make the deal, likely 2014 and 2017 I'd suspect.

I think a lot of people will be having their stomachs pumped before kickoff if this happens. The beer chugging contests will probably be as competitive than the football.

haha for real.

I think when LSU played Washington in Seattle, they broke some sort of arrests in one day record.

Wow look at Wisconsin, Illinois, and the population centers of Iowa and Minnesota. One big block of red.

I know there was a ridiculous amount of alcohol consumed when Nebraska visited Wisconsin a couple years ago.

I've seen some pictures of before, during, and after events......and it was pretty fucking wild.
