Herman has to make it a war. Right now LA has their flag planted their flag in TX, swoops in gets recruits and gives up our sloppy seconds feom LA. No war Herman has to earn that term, right jow I say par for the course.

This really is more of a screw job for the kids and the D3 schools that host these than it is Texas or any other school.

Usually it's a camp in some rural area, a good mix of top talent and lower ranked talent, and a lot of big name coaches. Kids get to learn some things, and coaches get to see an array of talent. It's a win win for all involved, and it doesn't cost much or is hard to get to.

LSU isn't going to offer probably 95% of the kids at these camps......so there really isn't a point to this. But it WILL piss off parents and HS coaches. At some point this will backfire on Orgeron........he needs to get his panties out of a bunch, and man up. Stop running scared from every school that comes in his state.

Sucks for the kids, hopefully in 3 years the new LSU coach wont be so short sighted.

Just a very Oregeron type move. He should have just done what Herman did with Ohio State and joined the camp. Now the media is portraying him out to be a prick over a really small issue.

It's just bad business for a head coach to limit the opportunities for kids. High school coaches will have a bad taste in their mouth. You have a lot of kids at these camps and you're not going to offer or get the majority so who cares if you help some of those others get a look by someone else. In the end the High School coaches will talk favorably of you to their star players.

The good part of this is now the Texas schools can point to Orgeron's comments and turn it into a boarder war. Keeping Texas kids in Texas.

Fuck Orgeron. He'll have LSU in hot water within 4 years.

He reminds me of a guy I knew who encouraged his wife to gain 40 lbs. because he didn't want anyone else trying to fuck her.

Yeah this is really pathetic.

We're talking 1 and 2 star kids mostly at these camps.......NOBODY there is going to LSU, Texas, or any other major program. There's just no point. And he can't stop these camps forever.....at some point he's going to lose out on public opinion. He's already pissing off HS coaches.......the only thing he has going for him is that LSU is really the only game in town. Usually, once the local coaches have it in for you, you're done.
