yes, weed is more ingrained in the culture and thus thought of as ok even if it is illegal. Thus more use. And yes reported more because of the high money generator college football has become. Today's youth more inclined to feel invincible or above the rules too(ie upbringing to a point).

I think they use to cover it up in the old days... if they even knew about it. Today, with all the media and investigative reporting.. combined with social media and pictures everywhere... schools are overly cautious and have to act.

Trust me, back in the days.. there were rapes and much worse covered up.
