We finished the season coasting through 2 games and then a bye week. The last thing we needed was a war with Baltimore - or was it?????
I think it was the perfect "slap" to wake up the sleeping giant.
I believe we'll be very ready and at our best......

There's a great tidbit on the Pats' ESPN home page "Picking up the pieces" I believe the article is called. Everything based off of Wednesday's practice, great stuff there, and has myself fully confident for Sunday.

Ya, I think the Pats are going to dominate this game. Not sure what happened to our defense down the stretch but the D is too talented to keep giving up big yards.
I know Indy will be ready for it but I still suspect the Pats are gonna have a good run game.

Hard to say but I do think that this year-end habit we had of being down by a couple of scores right off the bat helped us against Baltimore. That can be the dagger for some teams.

Weather reports for Sunday say it will be near 43 degrees by 2 PM. Only thing is that the game is being started around 6:40 PM. The temp at game time is expected to be around 34-36 degrees and the rain is supposed to start around 4:30 PM. A Canadian cold front will be moving in and the rain could be sleet by 8:00 PM. No one is saying that weather will be a factor but the Patriots have been practicing outside all week. The Colts have been practicing indoors. The temps in Indy have actually been colder than Foxboro. Why wouldn't a team practice outside if they had to play a game outside, especially if the game could be affected by rain, snow, sleet ???

Both teams should be practicing with ~wet~ balls,......latest weather forecast calls for steadier rain Sunday night/temps high-30's,.....supposed to be around 50 earlier sunday/daytime.,.....do the colts have a running-game, they might need it esp. If it snows out.....?!
