Lavell Edwards just passed away, so I guess he comes off the list now. Condolences to the Edwards family & his BYU family, as well.

Time for you guys to put them in the order you think they should be.
Also, any more names?

I think Jimmy Johnson is a bit high.
Maybe Spurrier and Edwards too.
Mack Brown probably too low.

John Robinson
Vince Dooley
Phil Fulmer

Bobby Wallace just retired, and he won three consecutive national championships for UNA, from 1993 to 1995.

... if we're counting Division II.

Frank Kush should be on the list (and high on it considering when he was done at ASU he was younger and had more wins than Paterno), but an undefeated ASU team got screwed out of #1 in favor of an Oklahoma team that lost at home to fucking Kansas by 3 TD's.

How is Gene Stallings below Bill McFuckinCartney and Phil Snitchy McSnitcherson Fulmer? He has a winning record head to head against both of them. The same number of national titles(only if you give Bill a full one) Conference championships in two different conferences. Plus he's just an all around better human being.

he coach the Aggies. automatically disqualified......

kidding. He was good
When Stallings was at A&M, he won a SWC Championship and beat Alabama and Coach Bryant in the Cotton Bowl. It was Kenny Stabler's last game at Alabama to boot.

This is in order of their Greatness as a Coach
Barry Switzer
Tom Osborne

Bobby Bowden
Lou Holtz
John Robinson
Mack Brown
Jim Tressell
Loyd Carr 1/2

Re-order these as you see fit.
If there are others put them on the list in the appropriate order.
Switzer was 0 - 1 and Osborne 0 - 2 vs former Washington coach Don James.
