Free agent ILB Paul Worrilow is drawing interest from multiple teams.

The Patriots, Lions, Eagles and Colts have all been linked to him. Worrilow was demoted to a backup role last year but was a tackle machine his first three years as a starter. He's the No. 15 linebacker in Rotoworld's free agent rankings. Mar 3 - 7:14 PM

Lions signed ILB Paul Worrilow to a one-year contract.

Worrilow spent 2016 as a backup to Deion Jones, but was a starter the first three years of his career. He gives the Lions a potential upgrade on Tahir Whitehead. Assuming he starts, Worrilow is a threat for 120-plus tackles in Detroit.

Yeah I like this signing. He is a very solid tackler. Had him in fantasy football in an IDP league a couple years back and he was 8-10 tackles a game.

Looks like Quinn might be targeting DL or secondary in the draft.

Just praying he doesn't draft a TE.

Had a injury plagued 2016. Be nice to see the early version of him. Solid signing for depth and to push for starting spot.

I give BQ props for sticking to his guns on having competition all around the locker room.

PS... would of been nice to see early version of the beard again also

DE is definitely my preference, but OJ Howard looks like a monster it wouldn't be the end of the world if he was the pick(He's even a pretty good run blocker)

It might mean we dont resign Bynes. This guy is not a starter and a liability in coverage. Still, he is better than Drew Gooden and that other no name dork we ran out there before getting Bynes and Levy back. Antoine Williams hopefully steps up this year too.

I think it also means we wont be targeting an ILB in the draft and that Whithead will be our MLB for a while.

Not sure I would go that far, but he will give him some competition for sure. The scoop is that he is Tulloch- like. Whitehead was just as bad last year. Maybe the worst in the league in coverage.
