It takes a special kind of dumbass to call a jet sweep on 4th and 2 when the Lions have 8-9 players wishing five yards of the LOS

Dom Capers must go. I've seen this shit show for too long. How many times do they have to get burned by the same shit over and over because his calls are so damn easy to see... He must go...and should've been gone 4 years ago.

To be fair, the Packer's would've had a 3 and out their first drive, but Daniels decided to be stupid... but yes, this D is shit...and Capers needs to go

Fortunately for me my daughter has a playoff game tonight and I don’t have to witness what I thought was going to happen anyway. So the defense isn’t performing? No shocker there. I can only think that without Rodgers the deficiencies on this team become even more evident.

I don’t know if I will be able to watch another game this year............

Defense had 1 sack and gave up over 200 yds to 2 receivers. Not sure how Capers can keep his job after this season but they will come up with some excuse...................:L:gaah:

Honest question for you guys.

Do you think if this season turns into a spiraling shit show, that McCarthy is on the hot seat as well?

I mean, he kind of was last year, before Rodgers pulled a circus act out of his ass.

He hasn't exactly gotten the job done WITH Rodgers either. I mean, Super Bowl or bust would be my expectation every year, if I was a Packers fan. He really hasn't even come that close to delivering, outside of last year. Where it was widely considered that he was out coached in the NFC Title game, no?

Just wondering.

It is Super Bowl or bust. That said, it's pretty evident that the defensive deficiencies have kept the Packers out of the Super Bowl throughout most of Rodgers' career, not McCarthy's leadership. Many Packers fans have been calling for Capers head for 5+ years now, but McCarthy and team management like him. It's much more likely that they use some defensive assistant coaches as scapegoats first. Then if the wheels continue to fall off, Capers is next.

McCarthy will be safe until Rodgers retires.

Watching Hundley last night, he reminded me of Seneca Wallace.

I was pretty displeased with the receivers last night. Hundley threw two pretty good deep balls last night. Adams could have easily caught the first one down the right sideline, but he did not give anything close to maximum effort to haul it in. Jordy could have easily caught the second deep ball down the right seam, but was way more interested in drawing a PI flag than catching the ball - which has become a trend with him.

If I was head coach and saw that kind of crap, my receivers coach would be looking for a new job this morning.

My 2 cents. I didnt care for MM's coaching style and i thought he should have been replaced before they won it back in 2010. After, i gave him the benefit of the doubt but i should have realized the victory had more to do with Rodgers than McCarthy's coaching ability. I think his coaching style is too conservative and highly predictable and it shows when opposing defenses seem to be in the huddle of the Packers offense. Now, in McCarthy's defense i also think it starts from the top down. Im not a fan of TT. Draft and develop has its place but you also need veterans in key positions to help get over the hump. Rodgers absence is showing not only what the team is made of but also the coaches. It may be time for an overhaul.

I think he will get to bring in a new DC before he is fired. This could also be TT's swan song.

Wouldn't have made any difference in the outcome, but the two back to back plays where they didn't call it was unreal. I'm thinking the refs wanted to catch an early flight or something.

It was a ten point game. If they call the first we are in field goal range.

True, but the way the defense played, even had they scored a TD it would likely have meant it would have taken a little longer before the Lions scored again.

I have no confidence in a 3rd down stop regardless of distance. The lack of pass rush is killing the D.
