Smallwood averaged 9.6 yards per carry......................I hope HOLGORSEN learned something from this game.

Yes. 56 yards in the 4th quarter with a 45-30 score. He broke a run for 35 yards. So you are saying we should have run Smallwood the entire game? D. Smith avg -3 while Shell avg 1.8. I believed what DH learned was that the run game was non existent, especially in the 1st half and probably was hoping that Howard could hit passes when they really were needed. You can't really be that dense, can you?

DENSE is continuing to throw balls all over the place with a QB that was way off the mark, I think running Smallwood would have taken some of the heat off an inexperienced QB who was in the midst of a bad day............

IF I would use your logic, White avg over 18 yards/ reception, so yes, throw the ball. White's average is almost twice that of Smallwood - no?

Sorta surprising Baylor not running it much but MSU is stacking the box so Baylor going with what MSU is giving them

WOW… that sounds strangely familiar…

WHHHAAATTTT?!?!?!? (said in my James Franco 'The Interview' voice). Even with an experienced QB? You no football fan. You a secret agent.

So there is no difference in a kid who has started two games and a multi year starter. :wtf2:

Do you think the choice of play depends on the QB's experience? I can't quit laughing right now!

If it doesn't, the coach is a fucking fool. Do you think you call the same play for geno Smith and Millard? Do you trust a kid starting his first game as much as a three year starter. What a crock of shit that statement is.

A coach is a fool for having his QB ready to make a call at the LOS based on his read?

How many games a QB has played means little in this system. The A&M QB was a true freshman making just his 6th start of the season. You think Sumlin changed things up for him?

I'm still laughing....

Sounds like they had trouble running against a stacked defense front. The difference, their QB could hit passes when needed. The irony, Baylor's ST had the opportunity to win the game twice on FGs but hit the post on one and had the second one blocked. Something that was tossed in these articles in the form of 'what if Josh missed those last second FGs?' What if Superman was born in Germany? He would be called Uberman and we would all be speaking German.

That's right, and think of it...what if Germany hadn't bombed Pearl Harbor?
