My biggest question to come from this is would he ever move schools. It seems really hard to believe that LaVar would put him anywhere else, but is it at all possible? LiAngelo isn't a one and done guy so to pull him out of school entirely would seem like a really detrimental decision.

Not sure what the plan is.

The giant target on all the Ball's back is starting to make the whole BBB thing look like a flop. Was rarely impressed with Lonzo for how much press he got.

LiAngelo isn't Lonzo, though. He'll need to go elsewhere or he won't make it to the league.

exactly. his realistic ceiling is 6th man in the association (and that is fairly generous). LaVar will have to swallow his UCLA pride and move him somewhere else.

I'm wondering what their gameplan is. Gelo doesn't seem like he is a high major caliber player, while his older brother was a star at that level and his younger brother projects to be a star.

and uh, there's the whole shoplifting in China thing. Kid got caught shoplifting in a foreign country, has a dad that isn't afraid to criticize coaches and he has questionable potential as a player. Not many HM schools are going to be willing to touch that.

oh, and lmao:

Hard enough to put up w/ this crap for a potential star. Who the hell wants to endure this nonsense for a marginal talent?

I have a feeling he enrolls at a mid major eventually if he wants to continue his basketball career. He was never UCLA good. Maybe a lower tier power 5 team, but I have a hard time seeing big programs giving him a chance.

Maybe Ball could play in China.

Did everyone check their lockers to see if anything was missing before he left?

Trump could make it happen. However the conditions would involve Lavar going with him & no guarantees that either will be allowed back in this country.

Maybe he could use this time to have his older brother mentor him & show him how he puts up a 2 pt / 3 ast / 3 TO stat line as a starting PG in an NBA game.

Get ready for homeschool Lavar style, trying to show NBA teams tapes showing LiAngelo Ball squeaking out victories in pickup games at the local YMCA.

If LaVar can make LiAngelo better than a D-1 program can, then sign my 5-10 ass up for the LaVar Ball school of shooty hoops

Would love to see UCLA tell Ball to pound sand with his 3rd kid too.
