As of right now those are the four best songs. "Red Cold River" has served its purpose and I don't see it having staying power. Deathwish won't do it because Red Sun Rising isn't at that point yet. And no, please not "Devil" by that overplayed band. Or that "House on Fire" by another band I don't like.

It's only May, but two years ago at this time I thought alternative had turned the corner but that was just my Pandora. I can't believe "Pretty Pimpin" didn't smash. It had all the elements just not the pop music fans that have infiltrated the genre. It didn't help that RHCP(and you know who that is now come on) and B-182 hurt its chances when they took over the dial. The second half of alternative saw Judah&whatstheir names and the return of the oh so annoying Imagine Dragons. It took a complete nosedive. Oh, and that stupid pop star Bishop Briggs who ruined Cold War Kids run at passing Rise Against for longest charting alt song.

The offspringjust became ridiculous eventually. A video about a sh&t sandwich just showed why I could not be a fan of this band. I always thought they became caricature as well especially with "Pretty Fly for a White Guy". Their best songs were "Self esteem", "Come Out and Play" and "The Kids Are Alright". I don't care much for anything else by them.
