Fuck the Nationals
Same as always --Retro keeps touting wRC+ as the "go to" stat and JVet and Northeast seem to think Exit Velocity is the better indicatorHow are my cronies over on the Phillies forum? I'm pretty sure Retro saw my post about logging out and looking at it and just blocked my IP address
Did you see the Cubs game? Pretty epic, until the fucking endI'm surprised he didn't flip his glove off after the play
no I missed that one, luckilyDid you see the Cubs game? Pretty epic, until the fucking end
I guess that may allow him to get to the 5th inningVV is dominating- look at all this weak contact he's inducing!
lol, that reminds me of that Braves fan from the ESPN board that would answer every post with a 3 page soliloquy. I forget the guy's nameWow, I thought I put a lot of effort into being a jackass on the internet.
There's a song called "Sweetest Girl" which talks about the sad nature of prostitution (it would actually be a good song for me to listen to more), and the chorus is:
"See I'mma tell you like Wu told me
Cash rules everything around me
Singin' dollar dollar bill y'all (dollar, dollar bill y'all)
Singing' dollar dollar bill y'all (dollar, dollar bill y'all)"
Wu is referencing the Wu-Tang Clan, which was a hip-hop group in the '90s. They had a song called CREAM, which stood for Cash Rules Everything Around Me.
Anywayyyyyy, somebody commented on the song about how the song was talking about Wu-Tang Clan in the chorus (which, admittedly was pretty obvious). He wrote:
"It does say 'Wu told me' because the Wu-Tang Clan made a song called CREAM(Cash Rules Everything Around Me)and they say 'Dollar dollar bill y'all' in the hook for the people who don't understand"
and somebody actually fucking wrote this in a response:
