Actually we lost to Syracuse the year('08) after that 3-9 season('07).

Those were some goddamn rough years.

08 had to suck for you guys. I was at the USC game out there and man it seemed more like a Funeral than anything else.

Though I do have to say South Bend fans are some of the best I have ever been around. Them and Falcon fans have been the best in my experiences...

That year was tragic for sure. And thanks, but believe it or not we're actually trying to become more hostile. Our AD thinks we are a little too nice to visiting teams. Every game I go to feels like too much of an NFL atmosphere. Too many old people and not enough crowd intensity.
