In a start up dynasty league, which round would you be willing to draft him? In a draft today and trying to draft differently then the usual.
So far I’ve drafted Barkley at 1.4 over Johnson and then took Adams and Baldwin. Standard scoring league and RBs have been going off the board quickly. QBs are going early also. Rogers went at 3.1,then Wentz at 4.1, Wilson 4.2, and Cousins at 4.3 where the draft currently sits.
For veteran RBs Drake, Ajayi, McCoy are left. Even Henry is gone. My next pick is 4.9, think one of the rookie RBs will be who I draft, then considering McCoy at 5.4, but IDK if that is wise.

I’ve soured on Ajayi after owning him in a few leagues last year. Eagles like a committee at RB it seems to me.

But McCoy would be off my dynasty startup draft board..unless he's still around in the double digits, then, why not?

I took Penny with 4.9 .My next pick is 6.4. I'll take another RB there. Chubb, Freeman, Johnson in that order, depending who's available. Pretty sure Chubb will be available since his ADP is so low, which is why I took Penny first.

Freeman got picked right ahead of me. Kind of a relief, because I was considering taking him and gambling that I could take Chubbs a round later. I took Chubbs.

i like chubb over freeman and johnson, so I think you played it right

if either of those rookies is a hit, you'll be sitting pretty.
i know it wasn't outwardly on purpose, but Baldwin and Penny - you have your 'Hawks (even if I like where you took Baldwin A LOT, as I think we've seen him set his floor at 6-8TD/yr as a worst case scenario as the reliable/main target in an unproven receiving group)

i think Hyde siphons enough volume of the rushing workload this season that you might not feel comfortable putting Chubb in every week, but I have faith you'll be able to find a guy or two that is useful as high end RB3 with this being PPR

Actually it's a standard league, which is why RBs flew off the board. I took a chance by taking 2 WRs in the first three rounds instead of 2 RBs. Think it will work out.
