Sorry, but it is completely asinine when people look to find someone else to blame other than the one responsible every time anything happens. First off we don't know if McCoy is involved, but if he is he is to blame, not the NFL nor it's supporters.

It's not asinine if the cause is CTE. I don't think McCoy (allegedly) or Rice would've acted the way they did if they had a mature and healthy brain. Same goes for Hernandez. Their issue isn't with the morality of hitting women or killing people, their issue is not being able to think things through effectively. CTE is a much bigger influence when it comes to these types of crimes than you give credit.

There is IMO some truth to it, with the thing about the dog being included in. Doesn't sound like hearsay, it is kind of like when you piss off your wife and she reads of a list of stuff you have done, that you have forgotten about, but women don't forget.

Truth. Odd addition to the already damning accusation. Whether or not this is true, Shady's life just got put on hold for a while.

If McCoy had no part in this then I hope she gets a hefty fine & jail time for false accusations.

my best guess, based on what I've read elswhere:

Cordon and Shady broke up a while back. There's an ongoing "property dispute". Most likely she won't move out of the house they were living in, among other things.

Billups appears to be the one making all the allegations.

I have no stats to back me up, but it really seems like the NFL has a much higher rate of these issues than almost any other sport. That would seem to support that CTE is a bigger issue than you think. I'm not making excuses for them either, it'd be an excuse if they used it. Im saying it's the CAUSE for this behavior.
