Sorry Cav fans.

He is not officially gone from Cleveland. There are still several options where he could return to the Cavs. Beyond that - this is isn't news. Will be soooo happy when he signs somewhere so that shortly thereafter ESPN & other outlets stop talking about him every 2 minutes. They should rename ESPN to the LeBron network.

I dont think it will be long now before we know where he is headed............Lebron has been on the phone for weeks now seeing who he can get to come to LA with him..........While its true he could still resign with Cleveland I dont see it happening.............I believe soon LBJ and PG sign with LA................And while I find Steven A Smith annoying at times I think his opinions regarding LBJ hold water as they are tight and Smith has him going to LA as well

Just because he is a free agent, doesn't mean he will leave Cleveland though - He could decide to go back if Cleveland were to make the right moves. For example if Cleveland were to perform a miracle like getting Paul George and Leonard - They would just walked on water. Granted that's not likely to happen, but stranger things have happened - just saying

The Memphis Grizzlies could really use Lebron James. Now that he's officially 100% out of Cleveland forever I assume he will be at the top of the list for the Memphis Grizzlies. I expect him to go to Memphis.

Portland a close second because he's into vegan stuff these days and Portland is made of marshmallow. But they're no Memphis Grizzlies.

This is dumb because him opting out, or letting his option expire is a non-story. It makes no sense for him to opt-in because if he simply resigns with the Cavs he gets more money. It would actually be worse for the Cavs if he opted in because it would mean he's got a trade partner lined up.

No chance they get PG and Leonard.

He is for sure leaving Cleveland.

What else is there for him to do for that team. 1 ring in what ..10 years? I'm pretty sure that is a record.

What else is there to talk about? The USA doesn't care much about the World Cup (since we aren't in it lol), so that leaves baseball and NBA free agency.

So he could get more money from the cavs?

And hurt their chances in signing any potential help for him...
