When it got cancelled last year, I decided to binge it to see what the big deal was.

I watched the pilot and could stomach going any further. I assume it got better, but did it get a lot better? Should I give it another try?

If you like Tim Allen it is pretty good. As far as what the big deal is, is that it has both sides of the political views in America. Tim plays his normal conservative from Detroit role, but his kids and his neighbors counter him by being progressive characters.

It's sort of like that except about 1000x worse. And he's got all daughters instead of all sons this time so there's that.

I'm kind of surprised they were able to get Kaitlyn Dever back, not because she didn't enjoy making the show but because I get the impression that her career has a little bit of helium right now and I'm surprised she's not too busy for it.

It would be funny if they brought back the original Kristin as a different character and then made repeated jokes about how she used to be the original Kristin.
