The Lakers are leading, 50-49, at the half.

Gotta say, he's not pretty yet but I really like Nance Jr... I like what Russell is bringing, and Randle is like a young Blake Griffin without the hops... If he can start getting that jumper to drop he'll be nice... Clarkson is the best player we have right now which is sad but I like him... Gotta say there is nothing on this roster that says the future is bright... Should have grabbed Okafor, but I do love that they play hard even if it doesn't add up to wins...

What is it about the 4th quarter that makes the Lakers play like shit?

Kobe over 35 minutes. :L :L :L

So fucking stupid. Why not just take him out to center court and shoot him? That would actually be better for his health

Been preaching about lower minutes for Kobe since before last season, Byron has been running him into the ground since he became the coach. We're 2-10, it's time to give up on the playoffs.

I honestly think this is Kobe being Kobe... I think he's accepted the fact it's over so whenever he's playing he wants to play to give him those points to climb as high as he can... He's earned it, but it's painful to watch... No way he comes back...

That fourth quarter fade is a glaringly obvious problem. Next problem for Scott to figure out how to correct.

Kenny Smith said something a long time ago (like years and years) that's always stuck with me, "some guys are just 20 (pick any number) minute players. You can play them 35 minutes, but they're still only going to be good for 20 minutes". Kobe is at that point now. He's only going to be effective 25 minutes or less a night. Playing him any more and he's not going to help you and he's also going to be useless for days afterward

It's very noticeable in the games he's played over 20-25 minutes. He'll be pretty good up until that mark and then his production falls off pretty drastically. I get wanting him on the floor late in winnable games, but for him to be effective at that time, he needs to play less earlier in the game.
