As long as Jim Buss listens to Mitch (or better yet, just gets out of the way) things should be fine. I heard an interview (don't remember who was being interviewed, cuz I'm old 
) that said Jim Buss is actually a very good judge of talent, but that his ego can get in the way re: some of his decisions. The person being interviewed also seemed optimistic that he is learning from his mistakes.
Here's hoping that means ALOT more input from Mitch and a bigger role for Phil (especially with the Knicks sniffing around).
