Okafor certainly could do well in Luke's system. They could dump a guy like Bogut or just flat out eat Dneg's contract and sign this guy since he wants out of Philly so badly.

If you are comparing Ball to Kuzma, you're making a mistake. They are completely different players with different responsibilities.

Kuzma's job is to score. Lonzo's job is to make sure the ball is moving so that Kuzma (and others) can score. Additionally, PG is the most loaded position in the NBA and the West has most of the best PG's. So Lonzo is facing far better competition than Kuzma on a nightly basis.

Lonzo's PER was +10 last night. His impact on a game won't always show in the box score. He seems like he's just as happy to get the "hockey assist" as he is to get the actual assist because it means the ball is moving and keeping the ball moving is his #1 job.

Having said that, he needs to shoot more. He should be averaging around 8-12 shots per game. Even if his shooting percentage isn't very good, he needs to make defenses respect that he will shoot. Also, he isn't going to improve his shot by not shooting.

Lonzo Ball has to learn when he is close to the basket to go ahead and take the shot instead of passing it out to a shot further away from the basket especially when the player you pass the ball to is heavily guarded.
