WVU safety is defense's best bet for sacks
That's one of White's two sacks in last season's win against Texas. He played in 11 other games and had just one sack.
"Sacks are hard to come by," White said.
He and the Mountaineers would like for that to change. White is the defense's best blitzer at the position most likely to generate the easiest paths to the quarterback. He figured that out pretty early last season, his first with WVU after two seasons at Pennsylvania's Lackawanna College, the same school that sent his brothers Kevin and Ka'Raun to the Mountaineers. Kyzir arrived during the summer without much of a runway before preseason camp, but there was really never any question that he'd be the starting spur safety or why.
