I suppose the Ws have the edge still but come on, the Spurs were only a step worse and if you add Irving without giving anyone up?
If you add Kyrie and another player close to his caliber, now were talking. Sadly, I think that's how good the Warriors are.

There has to be a different reason. Lebron aint the problem, I'm thinking Gilbert

It seems like a whole avalanche now. And maybe it was triggered by the supposed email. But you start with maybe that, and Gilbert, and the GM firing (and no replacement), and the lack of improving the team, and everything else....sorry man, but your team is now the dumpster fire.

Obviously they are still a playoff team but they are no longer a lock to come out of the East. And if they do manage it, GS sweeps them.

Exactly, that's why it doesn't happen. If they have to give up real talent to get Irving they don't really improve. It's not like picking him up as a FA. This is why it isn't happening.
Not to mention we saw what LA can do without a #1 guy out there with him. I mean my goodness, if I'm Cle LA got to come with "others" and/or cash at the very least.

Lol. As it stands right now, GS has 3 players better than the Spurs second best player. The Pop factor is always present, I'll give you that, but even with Kyrie, I don't think it's enough. Maybe I'm way off, who knows.

Well leBron is the #1 he'd be with obviously. But the Cavs would be worse just swapping LA for KI

For the most part, yes. But how many more seasons will LBJ be this dominate? At some point LA would have to step into the #1 role. Not gonna bode well. Maybe they could get rid of Love & pair LA with another ball dominate guard. Oh wait...they've been trying to trade Love with no luck so far. :noidea:

Kyrie could make all-NBA easily if he just played a lick of defense.

I'd be curious what his numbers/the cavs record was in games that Kyrie played that LeBron sat out... see what results they got when he was "the guy".

Really strange move IMO. Being "the guy" on a crappy team isn't usually a fun situation (ask young LeBron, KG etc).
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That's hilarious. Defense has no bearing on all NBA teams. Not one bit.

Irving is under contract and has significant value. I just don't see what the Spurs could deal that the Cavs would actually want.

Exactly. This is a waste of speculating brainpower. Kyrie might get traded. It will not be to the Spurs.

I'd sit on him for at least a year. I mean you listen to see if anyone blows you away but I'm in no rush to move him. Maybe in that time he can come to his senses. This is a dude that said the Earth is flat afterall, so he's got a track record of not thinking clearly. Plus, I still think Cleveland, because of how weak the East is, is still a viable option for Lebron in 2018. Part of that pitch can be moving Kyrie to bring in whatever pieces he wants whether its players or dumping Kyrie for younger cheaper players + picks to make room to sign a free agent.

TLDR: Sit down, be humble little bitch. You ain't going no where till we say so

They should not trade him.

1 more Finals appearance is likely. Then, LeBron probably leaves. Kyrie can be their LBJ insurance. If he truly wants to get out of LeBron's shadow, then maybe Kyrie stays IF LeBron leaves.

Didn't some certain wiggly person say that Kyrie was the best teammate LeBron ever had?

Who could even make this stuff up?

It's really fucked up that Kyrie leaked this the week before the bar exam.
