Everyone seems to be taking this to mean LeBron is definitely gone.

The reports that LeBron was shocked and devastated makes me think the opposite. Of course its a very real possibility... but I think if LeBron had his mind made up to leave already, he wouldn't care that much about Kyrie requesting a trade.

I think Lebron saw one more opportunity this season in Cleveland before dipping out to join a better player (Paul George possibly in LA) to win a title. Kyrie literally telling management that he no longer wants to play with Lebron obviously affects chemistry and doesn't make it any easier getting back to the Finals, let alone dethroning that juggernaut in the Warriors.

If Kyrie gets traded, the best they're likely going to get back is Melo - who's basically the same player as Kyrie but older and slower.

Guess Irving got tired of Lebron's D, or lack thereof. Rose can save Cleveland for one more year though if he stays healthy.

A healthy Rose/Lebron will be fun to watch.

For me, I think it's telling that Melo is not interested in going to the Cavs.

Those guys are all in collusion with one another.

Might he know something the rest of us don't?

One has to wonder how the email scandal plays in to all of this.

I just dont see Irving as lead dog material. He can't stay healthy first of all. His best best is 2nd fiddle to Leonard in San Ant. With the right supporting help thats a dynasty under Pops for 3 years anyways. GS ain't beating that team

If this is true, it tells me everything I need to know about Kyrie.

Unless Bron, or one of his boys, banged his girl, he has zero fucks to give about winning.

They beat the shit out of Kyrie when he was 2nd fiddle to Lebron.

To be fair, if they managed to add Kyrie to a team with Leonard, Mills, Aldridge, and Pop coaching....that's as good as the Ws IMO. But I don't see how that happens.

Mills and Aldridge? I don't think that gets it done. Green? Ginobili? Gasol? Meh, I still think the Warriors are just too good.

I suppose the Ws have the edge still but come on, the Spurs were only a step worse and if you add Irving without giving anyone up?

Cle would have to request LA back in that trade...otherwise they'd be the laughing stock of the league & of course be thrown under the bus by LBJ.

Kyrie had a higher usage rate than LeBron last year.

I honestly don't know what Kyrie is thinking. But, I mean, we're talking about a guy that thinks the earth is flat, so....

There has to be a different reason. Lebron aint the problem, I'm thinking Gilbert

Exactly, that's why it doesn't happen. If they have to give up real talent to get Irving they don't really improve. It's not like picking him up as a FA. This is why it isn't happening.
