I think "100%" is a relative term.

Do you ever really get back to 100% as an NBA player after having multiple knee surgeries on the same knee? Or after you suffer an injury like Hayward?
kyries knee was a worry for me coming in, but...hes shown this year he can p[lay thru it when its bad. the surgery was a matter of time, here or somewhere else.

hayward progress is stunning to me.

The Celtics aren't a 1st round, easy out by any stretch. This team is well coached and have outperformed given their injury history all year. I wouldn't count them out in the 1st.

Facts but you rather face a completely healthy Raptors or Cavs team instead of this???

I still think they are very capable of getting to the ECF. Perhaps beyond, if somebody else takes out Cleveland.
yes, they CAN get to the ECF as they stand...they added some key pieces that can keep them going. morris has been amazing IMO.

on a side note, len bias was a crack head.

Not at all. If I'm a 6-8 seed, I'm hoping for Boston. But at the same time, I don't expect any of the 6-8 seeds to win against Boston, either.

I kinda feel bad for Celtic fans but at the same time I don’t. I mean I’m a big bron fan so with him hurt it makes it easier for the cavs to make it to the finals but at the same time it seems it’s been a long time coming for Boston and it looked like this was the year

Yeah.

I could make an argument for any one of the 8 teams making the ECF or getting bounced in the 1st round.

The Cavs have to be the favorites. The Raptors need to prove it and there are question marks about how good this team is when the benches get shortened. The Sixers need Embiid back and are super inexperienced. John Wall looks really rusty. The Heat are fighting with their best player. The Bucks are a one man show. Pacers are dependent on Olapdipo being superhuman.

i mean....they are locked into the 2 seed

to get to the ECF they likely will have to beat the Cavs or, if they are lucky, the Sixers (if hte Sixers take the 3 spot from the Cavs)

The 3 seed is in all likelhood the Cavs.

you think they CAN beat the Cavs without Hayward and Kyrie? cmon now.

Entirely possible. Just my opinion.

Also, I just looked at the seedings again, I was looking at the wrong teams in the 6-8 slots. I thought it was the Wizards, Bucks and Pistons, but it's actually Heat in the 6th slot. Heat I think have a real shot. I said that in posts previous to this one. Thought they match up well.

Heat & Wizards IMO beat Boston without Kyrie. Milwaukee lose in 7 IMO

I have no faith in the Wizards. I feel they're too inconsistent. Boston at least you know what you're getting every game.

I believe in the Wizards...in the playoffs at least. They're not a regular season team

in all honesty?

yes. this cavs team is old in key places.

they score 1 more PPG than they allow on average. (110.5 vs 109.6). thats the closest of lebrons career, on any team.

theyre defensive rating is 29th.

Their SRS is middle of the pack. yes, lebron turns it up in the playoffs...but thats a lot to make up for.

??? old?--- this team has a great mix of vets and young guys after the trade deadline. That- AND playoff experience- something the Celtics have a comparatively very little amount of compared to the Cavs.

and I mean---- can you really use those season stats when the Cavs have basically not had this team until the last 2-3 weeks?

Somehow I dont think the team with IT, Wade, Frye, Shumpert, Crowder, etc. is that relevant at this point...

The Cavs new, and now healthy core of LeBron, Love, Hood, Nance Jr., Clarkson, TT, JR, Korver, Osman, Green, Hill etc. is just not the same team that "they score 1 more PPG than they allow on average. (110.5 vs 109.6). thats the closest of lebrons career, on any team. "

You know what else is a lot to make up? Missing Hayward & Kyrie. The Celtics future should be bright but I don't see an undermanned Boston team beating a LeBron led Cavs squad in a 7 game series.

I don't know.

If Players aren't resting, we will get a decent preview of what a Wiz vs, Celtics series would look like on the 10th.

Wiz with a healthy Wall and no Kyrie?

The Wizards have been a huge disappointment all Season long.

But, they could win.
