after the first series he looked like he settled in. the first series was brutal. a bad first series could end a season for a back.

Dont know how long san diego played their top guys. their coach said he didnt expect special teams to do much because he was gonna be playing guys that were not gonna be on the team week one.

The 1rst sack was on M. Bennet. The 2nd was on Jay, he had plenty of time to throw the ball away.

Yeah, his first test will come week 1 vs Geno Hayes ( hopefully w/ some help ) . I'm pretty sure your famliar w/ him.
But if he passes that test . The skies the limit.

Agreed completely. That doesn't mean I can't be happy about his performance.

either kyle of massie should have enough RT experience to be able to try the left side. MAssie was not going to replace Veldheer. If Long is our best offensive lineman, he should want to move to the left side. I kinda thought that was the idea last year.

Yeah... and they performed rather disappointingly at RT. He got a little better with experience as he went on, but you're to going to move a guy to the left side. Who is barely passable on the right.

The Trevathan signing, along with possibly signing Hicks has me thinking we may possibly go OL 1st round unless there's a stud defensive guy out there that we really like.
