Don't think it matters to anyone except for hard-luck Falcon fans. They were going to score on the next play -- unless there was some fumble or something.

Sucks for the fans, because I do believe they're supposed to review those kind of calls... but nothing would have overturned it, IMO.

They did review the call. went something like:
Hey guys, how many of you want to see Rog hand Brady the Lombardi?
Unanimous!!!!!

The conversation went something like this.

Roger: Hello NY is there ANY possible way we can over turn this?
NY: Sorry Boss no way. We looked at it from EVERY angle. Not one angle even gives the appearance it touched the ground.
Roger: F $#%
NY: Boss we still have Wells on retainer. Should I call him?

Communication lost after that. Roger is seen mouthing "damn those Patriots".
