We were one bad result in September from potentially not even making the Hex. I don't think WC qualification is the sure thing that some of you are touting.

No way either T&T or Panama is making it ahead of us. They make not automatically make it to Russia but they're making that playoffs at least.

Technical Director is the position overseeing the federation's development programs.

Klinsmann had (and just lost) both jobs. They're not necessarily one and the same. Klinsy didn't even have the technical director hat at first.

Well, thank goodness he completely fucked up youth soccer before leaving!

The new age group mandates are just stupid and are really screwing with teams, players and coaches at the youth level... Don't care how the rest of the world does it, he changed the age group to birth year rather than school year, broke up teams that have been playing together for years, probably will stunt participation numbers, etc... All so we can get the .0001% of youth players that will go on to play internationally in the same age grouping as the rest of the world...

Not 100% certain this was all Klinsmann, but if so he really got to serve up a real shit sandwich right before begin shown the door...
