Top line at it again, Laich did OK considering his story. Quick could have stopped a couple of those, but meh...one of those games. Glad to see 2 points to start this road trip!

Before the season started I felt they were a bubble team. These early points I hope will get them in

This road trip will be telling, they just faced a top NHL team (I still have such a hard time accepting the BJs as a decent team because they have sucked for pretty much their entire existence. I miss the days of guys like Frolov and Schneider getting hat tricks against them) and gutted it out.

As The Oxilator would say, I am "cautiously optimistic" because while they are undefeated I think they have given up way too many chances, shots or put themselves behind the 8-Ball at times only to have Quick stand on his head or have to come from behind to win. That's a good quality to have but also begs the question why were you down in the first place?

I think in about 6-7 weeks, middle of December, we will know what kind of team this really is.
