My experience in Kansas was this.

K-State fans in Manhattan.
Kansas fans in Lawerence.
North of those 2 = Nebraska fans
South of those 2 = Oklahoma fans.
My experience in Topeka was this;

They were split about 50/50
About half said Nebraska blows
the other half said Oklahoma sucks

I believed them 'cause the f---ing wind was always blowing!
(but I don't think that's what they were talking about)

Well, they're investing in their program so you can't fault them for that.

Does the other side have suites atop the stadium? (Similar to the Press Box side)

The reason I ask is, if they don't have suites, they would be better off adding another deck
to the press box side and subtracting one from the other side. Then if the need ever arose
and you would like it to...you could expand the seating by adding another deck on the other side.

If that current design has suites above the stadium on the other side, you can only expand in the
endzones. Nobody likes that.

Also, it is a rectangular shape stadium with decks. You cannot add seats in the corners because
they wouldn't be able to see the playing surface...or 50% of it. Mich, ND, The Rose Bowl, those stadiums
are ovals and thus corner seats provide could view of the surface of the field.

Maybe instead of the new look they should just add like a picnic area to the current stadium.
You can purchase a decent Picnic Bench for 300 bucks. Get a couple of them that would provide
them with seating for 12 more. I would almost guarantee filling half of them immediately

Phogg Allen Fieldhouse?:noidea:
Aww. Pay for a basketball ticket get 2 football games free. Smart.[/QUOTE]

That's how it use to be in the early 2000's for WSU students. In order to get tickets to the big games underclassmen had to attend women's volleyball or women's basketball games.

I don't know where the hell all the K State football and Kansas basketball fans come from. They fill up their respective stadium/arenas though and travel well. :noidea:

This was back in the 90's, could be different now.

I enjoyed Manhattan, mostly good people. Not much to do but get fucked up and fuck, which I guess some people complain about and say is boring....

I lived there myself for 3 years. I feel like we've had this discussion before. Am I going crazy?

Probably have. :heh:

But that doesn't mean you aren't going crazy.
