Feels like we're due to beat the crap out of these guys but we'll see.

Nice to see Mac launch another

Getting off the schneid is nice. Kruk mentioned this morning that he thought Mac was getting to the point of needing to go Sacto to get his mojo back.

8 pitch inning for Junior in the 2nd, and his second SDI.

    Panik still in leadoff.

I like Panik, and on paper it looks like he should be a decent lead off guy. But in practice it doesn’t look to be working. And Gorkys has appeared to perform well there.

    Maybe Gorkys prefers batting lower?

G is hitting .288 leading off and P is at .213 and trending lower. Boch can't let a player dictate where he bats in the order.

Are we particularly prone to this or is it just normal levels?

Mccutchen has been killing it lately. I hope Longoria is not hurt but he could use a couple of days off.

June is historically Cutch's best month, and seems like it's holding true this year

This! Gorkys has a higher obp and slugging. There is no reason for Gorkys not to be leading off. Putting him in the 8 hole also means less at bats per game and season.

If he could somehow go 8, that would be huge. Bullpen needs rest and to get out of Miami in the worst way.

Big K there Watson. Keep Watson in? Marlins have 2 switch hitters and a righty coming up. Would be nice if they scored some insurance runs here.
