Pretty big time in CBB recruiting is coming up. Thought I would try to draw up some interest for it.
4* F Cole Swider is announcing his commitment tomorrow. Things seem to be pointing in Duke's direction. He's apparently down to Duke and Xavier.

Nova and Syracuse are the others in the mix. We shall see.
Interesting note:
Wake got a CB after Swider had already eliminated Wake from his list.
Hell, all these kids are the same at this level. Until they actually sigh a LOI I wouldn't trust anything said up until then.
This is a big get considering we desperately need bodies, only having 8 scholarship players before this.
Holtmann being able to add 2 4* guys to the currently incoming 17 class (to go along with Kaleb Wesson) is a nice start to the rebuild.
Four-Star Guard/Forward Musa Jallow Commits to Ohio State, Reclassifies to 2017 Class
Pretty great work by Holtman to secure a top 25 class when he had about a month to do it. This at least lays the groundwork for the 2018-2019 season. My guess is Ohio State will see a huge influx of talent for that season whether it be transfers and incoming freshman.
Yea Wesson Young and Jallow is a solid foundation. Along with Potter and Wesson's older brother who are SOs this year
Landed our first for 18 tonight too. 4* SG Torrence Watson from Missouri, like his all around will be a good piece to the puzzle
Torrence Watson, Whitfield School, Shooting Guard
Nice get on Watson. I can't understate it enough how intrigued I am with Holtman being as Ohio State, more so this season. I think he's going to do awesome at Ohio State. My one question is whether or not he'll be able to land the 5 star talent like Matta did early in his tenure with the likes of Oden, Conley, Cook, Koufos, Mullens, and Burford. I think he'll be able to but maybe not until the 2019 recruiting cycle.
Matta's thing was he was never really able to develop players pretty well, when his luster wore off and he wasnt able to get those all american type players, the results quickly dropped off. Marc Loving is a perfect example of Mattas inability to get players to get better.
Holtmann however I trust will be able to win with the Watson and Jallow types. I think he may be able to bring in some elite 5* types here and there, 2018 class from the looks of it right now will probably be 3 or maybe 4 solid 4* guys. 2019 will be his chance to woo some of the more elite players if these next 2 seasons go well.
