Cooley said this morning he doesn't see any way Norman makes the trip. Said he could basically see Josh's eyes rolling around in the back of his head when he hit the turf.

Both Norman and Reed have been cleared to fly to London with the team and participate in practice. However, neither have been given final clearance to play sunday. They will be re-evaluated on Saturday, after the walk thru. This is a positive sign in any event.

Timeline since Josh's concussion. Honestly don't even understand how these independent Neurologists operate. Seems a few days wouldn't be enough to be cleared.

Also, this is the 3rd diagnosed concussion for Josh in the past 3 years I believe. Didn't realize he had a concussion history too.

That's his decision & he knows the facts better than any of us. It is 2016 and players know the facts & the risks. I am sure that Reed also has friends, family & doctors giving him advice & facts on the situation. This is a grown man who makes his own decisions. I wish him the best regardless.

NFL concussions by position. CB - by far - is the position that sustains the most concussions. My guess then is that Norman having three over his entire career is nowhere near tops at that position. Eventually they will figure something out to make the game safer - they are at least taking some action now. Until that time you can't expect every player with a handful of concussions to retire. Not saying that is good or bad - just that is how it will play out.

Good pt. If you look at the link I posted you will notice that the #s for the previous years are a lot lower. I don't think this indicates that there were less concussions. Rather - there were less that were reported especially with how they now go through the entire process.

Yup. In fact, it happened to me a couple of times when I was playing. I distinctly remember breaking open those packets and smelling them. That will wake you up!
