100% correct. Win or lose, the Broncos had to draft a young QB and they seem to really love Bo Nix.

After some research - I discovered that Elliss' 3- cone time at 6.69 was better than Von Miller's 3-cone time of 6,79. Jonah Elliss has not shown a Von Miller bend ability, but he has one comparable stat to Miller. I do think those were the fastest 3-cone times at the combine for any position - though it is not kept like a valued stat at this point in time - so kind of hard to tell if it is a record.

I think Elliss is sorta the lost man of the draft class right now. I have neglected him due to my love for Franklin, Abrams-Draine and Estime.

Like I said before the consistency is the key ingredient with Elliss here. I like a lot of our pass rushers we have on the roster now but none have shown a lot of consistency. All have done good things. Just need that one elite pass rusher to team with them. Not sure Elliss is elite but he is consistent. Now needs to translate it to the NFL level. Reminds me of Iowa DE AJ Epenesa coming out.

He has a blazing start at the snap - advanced use of his hands for body punching - and twitch quick ability to reverse field. His weakness for the position would be an ability to anchor the edge and seal off the run game. He has to build lower body strength to challenge that part of the job. He was a captain on the team - father was a coach - his brothers play the game at nfl level - he knows how to get better.
