On IR for the rest of the year.

2 hours after Marvin says he'll suit up.

Something tells me the team isn't functioning quite as well as it should be.

But hey, let's have a toast to John Ross and his tremendous rookie season. What will you remember more, the fumble on his only carry? Or the complete quit on his only target?

With the Jeremy Hill surgery surprise and now the John Ross fiasco, I'm ready for a change. Make Pauly interim and see how he does. Anything!!!

No thanks. If Paul pulled a few upsets, he would be hired. Next year would be a disaster. We already did this type of shit before Marvin, we don't need to do it again after he's gone.

Marvin throwing players under the bus again. What else is new.

That said, Ross is shaping up to be the biggest bust in the history of this franchise. Not an easy feat mind you.

3 games played, 0 catches on 3 targets, 1 carry for 12 yards. And of course the fumble. Ki-Jana Carter had a better rookie season...

His entire career will come down to two factors. First, his health.... Not much else to say - Looks like he is made of glass. Second, whoever runs the Bengal offense for the next 3 years. Get a good offensive mind in here and the guy is an instant weapon. Keep the same Marvin Lewis play not to lose bullshit offense and he'll rot on the sidelines.

I really hope it works out for both parties involved. He was a treat to watch on Saturday's up here.

William Jackson III had all over 0 games played last year, 0 tackles, 0 break ups, 0 INT's, 0 sacks
Andrew Billings had the same stat line.

I mean, Ross already has had a better year than those two did last year.

Umm.... No he didn't. He negatively impacted two games. Hell, he basically gave up 3 points in the Texans game. He would have been better off not playing.

BTW - For fun.... Here are the Marvin Lewis 1st round picks that basically did nothing (or next to nothing) in their first year:

Carson Palmer (03)
Chris Perry (04)
Keith Rivers (08) - To be fair, it was Ward's fault
Andre Smith (09)
Dre Kirkpatrick (12)
Darqueze Dennard (14)
Cedric Ogbhuei (15)
William Jackson (16)
John Ross (17).

Thanks Marv!!

Are you serious with this? Those two guys also were injured and didn’t play a snap last season. Spent the entirety on IR.

Big difference between getting hurt in camp and being out, versus being hurt since before even being drafted. Then coming back, sucking, getting reinjured, coming back, giving up on a route, being a healthy scratch, getting injured again.

Any coach other than Marvin Lewis and Jeff Fisher, could’ve figured out how to at least use his speed in the offense. When he was healthy. At the vary least he could’ve had a Tavon Austin or Cordarelle Patterson role. Instead he spent the majority of the season in sweats and a ballcap.

All coaching. Ask Pats fans how Rex Burkhead has been utilized?

Marvin is a tool

like Marvin Jones, he will show some promise here, but never really actualize it. And then he'll go to another team and become their workhorse.
