John O`Korn to Michigan

Looks like Houston qb John O`Korn is transferring to Michigan. Why did he wait till after signing day to announce? I'm sure Harbaugh told him to so it wouldn't screw up his recruiting with Zack Gentry. I wonder what Gentry is thinking now?
