Okay...

I've reached the breaking point with Danks.

I get it... I get how much money we are paying him, but he is AWFUL. He is a god damn automatic loss in our rotation.

For the love of god... Just get him out of the rotation. I don't care what money we have to eat. Please... throw ANYONE besides this loser.

in 2011 he started off 0-8 and went 8-4 the rest of the way. in 2014 he started off 3-8, then went 8-3 the rest of the way. this was being a servicable #5 starter.

i hate the guy being on this team as much as anyone but you know they aren't going to eat money and they do have reason to believe (as shown above) he can still be a servicable #5. this is purely a case of having to take the bad with the good.

now if they can come up with a better #5 ............ (haven't seen it yet).

I'm still curious as to how 'good' Latos actually is this year, so far. He may be the real diamond in the rough and can balance out some of Danks' sucktitude.

i thought latos was a waste of 3M but it seems he's already been worth that. it's great when this happens .... but it doesn't make up for all the money they've thrown away on absolute garbage.

But seriously, no team in history makes every signing work. ALL teams have mistake contracts. The idea is to have more winners than losers. Latos may be a win, still too soon to say. Danks was a big loss. But even the perennial winning Giants have had some doozies throughout their winning run: Zito, Cain, Lincecum, etc.

Yeah, he gave us some good starts in 2014, but since he's been pretty mediocre. But still not as bad a contract as Danks. Definitely in the 'not good' column though

Makes sense though. When they sucked it was like "whatever let him stay, don't waste the $, what does it matter" but now they have what could be a good team and they are taking it seriously. Gotta give some credit to the FO they have been doing pretty damn well lately.

well i'm going to assume here that mall3013 IS danks and he's trying to show off. she's cute. looks like she might have a lazy eye and possibly a broken nose in her past. also judging from the bags under her eyes i'd say she won't age well.

She is one of those country singers that's a hit or miss. I would agree that she probably won't age well.
