Did anyone else think it looked more like he fell awkwardly into the block than an intentional block? I know players make dirty hits all the time by pretending to recoil from action, but it didn't seem like that to me.

ummm,

1) Accidental penalties are penalties, but Thuney has been fined $9,000+ for the "accident".
2) My statement "I realize players make dirty hits...." shows I "realize" pros "practice" making mistakes.

The thread is about the fine not the penalty.
