I have spoken
Guessing this is bad news for him.

I'm sick to death of people who profess to be such good Christians and then don't practice the basic tenet of Christianity: forgiveness. Yea, Joe fucked up. And he paid for it. But too many people still want to hold things against people forever. Kinda like when a person goes to prison for something and then comes out to lead a good life and there is inevitably too many people who will always consider him/her to be "an ex-con". If you can't forgive people, then don't tell me you are a person who practices what religion is supposed to be all about.

i wont watch it...it won't do anything for me. dude paid his price in the eyes of the law
One more year till eligible.Isn't he going pro?
The timing of this is ugly. Talk about ruining a career.
I think this is the crux of the curiosity. Many do not believe he actually paid his debt. A lot of people consider this another case of an athlete getting beneficial treatment.
I'm glad you didn't have to burn a Viagra today.

To be honest I've thought about that myself. He ended up getting basically a redshirt year because of it so it's debatable how much he actually "paid" for it.
That being said, it was an isolated incident and if I remember right it was a racial slur that set him off, so in context this shouldnt be something that ruins his career. He probably should have gotten a second chance at another program-the risk of the video resurfacing would have been reduced and he could have truly put it behind him.

Did you see his haircut this year? That's now 2 punishments. If it's a legal case, then he's paid for it as much as any other citizen would.
What you guys seem to be asking for is extra punishment.

He got a fucking deferred sentence. No, that is not being punished as much as "any other citizen" would for a domestic assault on video.
(Also, I thought this video was already made public. Was that another OU player or another incident for Mixon?)
