I love these trips. They're entirely paid for by donors, so they aren't coming out of either the athletic budget or academic budget, and they really do give these kids an opportunity to see the world while in school. If they take one of these every year, that's an amazing educational experience they'll have after it's done.

Not a big deal imo if the funding does come out of the athletic budget. Football pays for all those other sports that nobody gives a fvck about.

Meyer is probably the 2nd or 3rd best football coach in the NCAA (Nick Saban number 1 and Dabo Swinney 2 or 3). I have no problem with him trying to even up with Meyer or pass him.

When ohio state is in your conference, any school looks like an academic college ... Michigan is a pretty good Academic school though!!!

I am ok with the trips. Until the purpose gets skewed and that usually is what happens to these type of endeavors.

I also think it is a matter of time before an incident of some type occurs.

He's a damn good coach (better than Jimmy Jam) but Meyer's the 2nd best coach in CFB today. And it's not even debatable.

Meyer: 165-29 record, 10-2 in bowl games & 3 Natty's (he's also the only HC in CFB history to win a Natty in 2 different conferences) & has never won fewer than 8 games in a season or had a losing season

Swinney: 89-28, 5-4 bowl record & 1 Natty
