Yea, I don't know BigD, Mo works one inning. Much less of a toll on his body than what Jeter has to go through.

But he also has a full 1/2 year, then a full offseason to get back into shape. Maybe I am giving Mo and his influence/effect too much weight and credit though? What else does Jeter have to do and prove? But, could we not have said the same of Mo if his last time on the field was in the fetal position in K.C?

Neither one of them have anything left to prove, which is what makes it a very realistic possibility that he may never play again. Well, that and how old they are.

I sincerely hope he plays some this year, so if he does call it quits he and Mo can go into the HOF together.
