Jerry may have his faults but I agree with him on this issue.

Hmmm. How can I say this...

Nobody cares?

Although I agree with JJ in this instance, the whole "protest the anthem" thing is tired, played out and down right stupid. If you want to make an impact through protest, do something that has some balls.

Yup a bunch of copy cats, now it doesn't cause anyone to blink. It wasn't a good idea from the start, guess it got a few players in the news for a bit. Didn't really have any effect for their cause though.

I think that at this point, a majority of the players are doing it just because they know that it'll get attention (any publicity is good publicity mantra). If the media stops showing it, writing about it and talking about it, I doubt most of these players will continue doing it.

What are they kneeling for again? It's for the Lion King live remake, right?

The NFL is enabling this to be shown. I can only assume that the NFL will get this fixed during the next contract with the Networks. Jerruh can't be the only owner that feels this way. The players would stop doing it if the networks stop showing it.

Who gives two dumps on what Jerry thinks?

The players are grown ass men, this is a business, if you can't man up as an owner and tell your employee's you don't want the "protest" on your sidelines then let them continue to do it, then you have no leg to stand on!

Hell, it wasn't that long ago that the players weren't even on the field for the national anthem.

The NFL decided to politicize its product. There can be a backlash to such decisions.
