Honestly, they could have done much worse. It's one of those shot in the dark kind of hires. A coordinator under Saban isn't a bad way to go when you're running out of options.

Actually the word "hope" could be excluded from your statement. I don't believe there is any doubt
that he will crash and burn...only the time frame is in question.

Remember he went to UGA from FSU. He had issues keeping his hands off the coeds in Tally.
Of course, that may not be a problem for him at UT. All the pics I've ever seen of UT gals
showed 50% of them were extremely attractive and the other 50% looked like they could
heave the discus 200 feet.

I can't believe you guys hired Phil for this stuff. That dude is only looking for ways to keep himself relevant. Hired a coach with no experience...that Miss St passed on...to a big time school just so he can have lots of influence over him.

Meanwhile, Phil can't process the fact that he's a joke and the game had passed him by more than 10 years ago.
