Bruce will have his funks. He is who he is.

He'll still end up with 30+ HR's and 100+ RBI when the season is over.

But I agree on Votto. He's also terribly slow now. His defense is sketchy and I have no idea part of the time what he intends to do when he's at the plate.
With Cozart in there, this is really going to become annoying.
Lucky the Cubs suck, though I can't say for sure they won't catch us.

Votto's signing may in time become known as the worst transaction in franchise history, surpassing the Robinson/Pappas trade.

The Reds are going to make the postseason. Their rotation won't allow for the long losing streaks that will knock them out...likely as a WC though unless Ludwick comes back hitting HR's, Bruce scorches again at some point and Votto tears his meniscus again.

Cabrera's probably smart enough to ignore any advice Jacoby would offer.

And as much of a problem as Jacoby may be, Votto is the biggest problem.

He's not producing, period.
