So you are comparing a speed/deep threat to a posession WR? Lmao
Both have needed or give the appearance on tape they need to be schemed open in order to get targets. And Wilson plays X as well as the slot so ... pointless argument unless you want to argue exemplars which are stupid 100% of the time. Landry has better volume and Wilson better efficiency. If Landry is legitimately better, it's because he was misused in some fashion which I won't dismiss the possibility of.

I am a firm Landry hater, but even I am kinda interested to see him out of Miami.
Cleveland already has Gordon, who can thrive with any QB, and will likely bring back Pryor, who had his best year with Hue Jackson. With Njoku looking promising at TE and Duke Johnson also able to catch passes, Landry has no pressure to be the franchise WR, which is the perfect spot for him.

Now to find a competent QB.

I love it man. If they're smart and draft Barkley, Cleveland is suddenly looking pretty appealing if you're a FA QB. 2 fantastic RBs, really good OL, and what's becoming a damn fine group of receiving options. And a FUUUCKLOAD of money.

Sign Cousins
Trade for Landry
Draft Barkley

#championship

I'm thinking tnis is part of the Cousins negotiations. Het him to sign and promise him they get him weapons.
I could soo them trading a pick and do all they can to boost the OLine.

I wish because I would love to make everyone eat crow who told me the Browns with Cousins wouldn't break at least .500

Agree. Draft Barkley and Fitzpatrick at 1 and 4. You can pay Cousins the moon and you suddenly have a damn dangerous offense and a bunch of young studs on defense. Gets exciting.

They actually did beef up their O-Line pretty well last offseason.

If they get Foles the GOAT, they're SB contenders for the next decade.

With the Browns landing Landry they have to be the favorites to win the preseason championship.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Jarvis Landry might still play under the terms of the franchise tag with the Browns.

The two sides did not work out a long-term deal before the trade went down, and RapSheet reports Landry could play out the one-year tender to get a feel for how he fits in Cleveland before signing a long-term deal. It also makes sense for Landry to wait if the Browns are not willing to guarantee him the value of the tag this year ($15.98 million) and a large chunk of what it would cost to tag him next season ($19.18 million). Cleveland almost certainly made this trade with the intent to sign Landry to an extension, but it does not sound like that is a given. Only the fucking Browns.

With 6 picks in the top 65, it was theirs to lose.
