If it's within the rules (does the January 11 expiration of the dead period for no contact apply to high school kids only?), something tells me this guy already left a voicemail for Jalen Hurts:

Jalen is a great guy and so proud to have him at Alabama. He showed tonight to be even more of a class act than I think most thought possible.

I hope he sticks around and finds a role on the team next year. But I wouldn't blame him for transferring either.

If Hurts is gonna transfer, he needs to go to Ga Tech.

He could run that offense, and he could be effective throwing out of that sprint
out stuff that they do. He plays for Tech and breaks contain on a sprint out
whatever the cornerback does...he's wrong.

Hurts was born to QB the true run and shoot offense. Tech lines up in the true
run and shoot formation 90% of the time. They have never really had anybody to take
advantage of the gangster series of the run and shoot (sprint-out game). They've
been forced to stick to the straight option game and have even broken down to get
some tight ends.

Big12 defenses
Big 12 defenses fared better than SEC ones against common opponents......

I'd take Texas and TCU's defensive units over anything the SEC has to offer
