You have lost your starting job from here on out, you’re a Texas boy. Come to Austin....You will start ASAP....
Don't you have a QB?You have lost your starting job from here on out, you’re a Texas boy. Come to Austin....You will start ASAP....
He'll have to sit out a yearHaven’t had a QB since 2009....
Don't know about next year, but I think Rising is the future at QB.You have lost your starting job from here on out, you’re a Texas boy. Come to Austin....You will start ASAP....

He's a good kid. I can see him staying and/or transferring.
I don't think he has a future in the NFL and he probably realizes that as well, but he does have a future in coaching and could benefit sticking around.
But if he transfers, can't blame him either.

When you signed him I never imagined he'd have been a Qb this long. He has no future at the position and I'd say Saban is the only coach that would have let him play QB and gotten this much out of him.
No way in hell he could transfer to any P5 program and see the field at QB.
He showed a lot of character tonight. And afterwards with a mic in his face.If Tua is as good as he showed tonight, I suspect Saban is going to have a hard time starting Hurts next year. That said, Hurts showed himself to be a class act and handled the demotion in a very mature manner.
