It's now or never for Locker with fan confidence diminishing rapidly. I like the guy but like with many things Titans-related, I just don't see us going to the SB with his accuracy issues.

Hammer,

I look for Jake with a better Offensive line in front of him to make drastic improvements. However, I still do not believe the Titans to be a playoff team. Defense still needs work

I just don't know what to think. Put it this way, I don't see the Titans winning a playoff game with Munchak. More on Jake.

With the additions of Chance Warmack (rookie) and Andy Levite and Delanie Walker at tight end, the blocking for Locker should be much better. Then at WR they drafted Justin Hunter to go with Kenny Britt and Kendall Wright, that sounds like a pretty good corp of WR. Delanie Walker will prove to be a upgrade over departed Jared Cook as a all around TE.
Locker just needs to step up and show he's a NFL caliber QB. I was very disappointed with his senior year with the Huskies, but wish well in the NFL. Titans have given him some weapons, now he needs to show he can use them.

Everyone in Nashville agrees with you, Harold. It's now or never with him. If it doesn't happen this season he'll be a career third-stringer or worse because of the accuracy issues.

I support him but vigorously opposed using the draft pick on him.

Well to tell you the truth, I was glad that the Seahawks were never in a position to draft him. I think his problem with accuracy comes from bad footwork and rushing his passes. That can be fixed...I hope.
Locker is one hell of a good guy. He could of came out a year earlier and really made that big bucks, instead he stayed in school. I'm rooting for him and will be keeping a eye out on how he does.

The experts are saying that his issues are not fixable.

Well the experts say a lot of things, for example, many said that Russell Wilson is to short to ever make it in the NFL. I think that has proven to be wrong.

I don't know if Locker will become a good QB in the NFL, I think this season will be the year he needs to show that he's taken a step forward. If not then the Titans are going to have to find a new QB and finding a good one isn't always easy.

Should and could and are. Are 3 different things. I look for the offensive line to be better. Injuries derailed this team last year. so lets hope

We invested waaaay too much in Jake. He wasn't worthy of a #8 pick, especially when we needed and could have gotten guys like Tyron Smith, JJ Watt, and Nick Fairley.

I love the Titans and hate to sound pessimistic but I've been pissed off since the 2009 loss to the Ravens. I am really tired of pretending like we're the only team plagued by injuries. It was just way too convenient to blame all our woes on the OL last year.

And the really scary part? We have no plan at all for if Locker is exposed this season.

Hammer I will disagree. he was the best quaterback in that draft, injuries and a bad offensive line have hurt him. remember he has had 3 different OC's since he has been in the NFL

I like Jake allot personally and will be delighted to find out I am dead wrong on this. :suds: We will need him to carry the defense this year.

Cut him

The Titans should cut Jake. Then Harbaugh of the 49ers would pick him up as a backup for Kaep and in two years will turn him into a QB that they can trade for more picks just like they did with Alex Smith. Except Jake has a bigger upside, but their history sounds very familiar.

Kinda sounds like Pete Carroll did with Wilson last year. That turned out all right.
