He just fits the Devils' style of hockey so well, it's not a very fast system, like in Boston where he struggled in the playoffs. He is the perfect fit forthis team and it showed. He was easily the Devils' best player all year.

It does seem a bit high, but that's with the bonuses that basically only kick in if he's healthy and plays. Also, since it's a one year deal, it's not a huge concern.

Good for the Devils and Jagr. He likes where he is and a farewell season will be great. Guy can still hang at 42 years old. Nothing but respect for him as a player. I am over all the drama BS that happened involving the Pens.

man i wish they dealt him at the deadline and then have him come back in the summer. that would've been a win/win.


i'm happy we have him back its understandable after the season he put up.
