Mariners announce they have optioned Danny Farquhar to Tacoma. I had no idea he had options left. Clears room for Jackson.

Looks like we are going with a short pen for now. Maybe something in the works with Ackley...that is just me wishful thinking.

Yeah, have to try to trade Ack if the decision has been made to take him off the roster. He wouldn't clear waivers.

Delaying the inevitable. One of the out fielders (2?) need to go. But Farquars ass needs to be down in tacoma so I like the move.

I dont like our already short handed pen getting shorter, but hopefully with the happer and king coming up they can extend. although with this teams luck, Happ gets bounced in the 3rd tonight.

I think Weeks would be the better move as a whole. While Ackley is fairly worthless a the plate, he can at least provide serviceable defense.
