This is basically the main trade off for trading up to get Mahomes. The Chiefs probably aren't going out of their way to upgrade Ford unless they get a top 50 pick to work with to do so.

The big worry here is run defense but I think thats up to the dline and ILBs to pick up the slack.

Good decision. Seems to be coming into his own. I loved this kid back when he was in the draft. Actually think the mock draft we do on this website I took him for the Broncos. Hate to see that he is reaching that potential of the type of player I thought he could be with the Chiefs.
